Do You Honor Yourself?

Do You Honor Yourself?

Think about that.

To honor oneself is to respect, admire, and appreciate yourself. It's taking care to give yourself everything you need on a daily basis.

Why is it important to honor yourself?

When you honor your needs and your health, your body reacts with trust. By saying yes to yourself, your needs, and your health, you're constantly telling and showing your body that you really mean it and that you really honor the steps you're taking.

Think about that.

How do You honor yourself?

Start to practice and know that you will stumble at first. It may even feel awkward.

Here are 5 ways to honour yourself

  • Redefine the word selfish. Investing time in nourishing and nurturing your own individual needs does not make you selfish. In fact, it shows you are selfless. You can be more for yourself and others when your cup is full. FACT!

  • Spend time with your thoughts and emotions. Observe them and how they affect the way you operate in your world. Awareness is key to change.

  • Drink lots of water and eat plenty of nourishing foods. Your body is a finely tuned machine that is capable of incredible things, so put the right things into it most of the time 😊

  • Your body is YOUR temple. It’s the only place you have to live. Look after it as though it were a palace. In effect, it is your palace. Practice gratitude for it every single day and as often in the day as you can. Pray, meditate, and spend time in nature, whatever quiets your mind to give peace to you.

  • Get physical. Move it, move it lots. Bodies LOVE movement. That is why it feels uncomfortable or even painful to sit for long periods of time.

Create a routine to implement these 5 tips, practice them every day, and watch the magic unfold.

I prioritize these things when I work with you on your plan to feel incredible. You will have more energy, be stronger, fitter, and healthier, and gain remarkable peace and tranquillity that comes from this practice.
